Inflation and holding cash
[edit]The article states that inflation and stagflation make cash a more attractive investment. This is not true. High inflation erodes the value of cash and makes it more expensive to hold.

Comparisons
[edit]Would it be possible to add a table comparing a few online savings accounts, or would that violate some sort of Wikipedia neutrality policy? Bill Lava (talk) 05:52, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Current Online Savings Account Rates
[edit]For some reason, it is not always easy to find out with providers are offering the highest interest rates. Many commercial sites that provide information on interest rates either do not include online savings accounts, or have a limited list and do not have the highest rates.
As of 15 May 2009, the highest rate that I have found is 2.45% APR from shorebankdirect.com. (It would be nice to have a neutral site where savers could share this kind of info, without promoting any particular product. —Preceding unsigned comment added by George was curious (talk • contribs) 14:03, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
