It seems a little strange to have this separate from the 8. It is not that different, and is it really that notable as an upgrade to the 8? Chaosdruid (talk) 02:26, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do not merge. All past iterations of the phones have kept separate articles for each "#", "#T" and "# Pro" variation, as the designs and specs and reception all differ. Denzera (talk) 05:03, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree - No benefit exists from combining the two pages. While its physical appearance may be similar to the OnePlus 8, the two are technically distinct phones with differing specifications. Historically, T-series phones from OnePlus have never been merged for this reason, although I will admit it is less distinct than the 7 and 7T for instance. elijahpepe@wikipedia 00:59, 19 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. The phone looks like the 8 series but it is completely different. 69X420 (talk) 16:45, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Counterpoint

[edit]

The "T" variant is released on a separate cadence than the original 8 and 8 pro. The design of the T is also different from the 8/pro model, with thicker bezels. Shufty (talk) 22:19, 01 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The 8 is not the 8T. They are two separate phones. Merging the 8 and the 8T into one page makes zero sense.Allthenamesarealreadytaken (talk) 15:35, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
