Might think about relabeling this thing

One-electron chemistry is bigger than organic synthesis. Most metals really only undergo 1e changes. Possibly the article could be relabeled as "dissolving metal reduction," which is currently a redirect. This would include Birch, Bouveault-Blanc, maybe Wurtz. Other bits should redistributed into various new homes such as radical reaction, single electron transfer, Atom-transfer radical-polymerization. --Smokefoot (talk) 16:29, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

Something needs to be done. There's also Solvated_electron and Electride, which could be considered the reactive species for these processes. You could conceivably merge this page into one of those articles. Either way I think we need an obvious "top level" article for all this. Project Osprey (talk) 19:15, 15 December 2013 (UTC)
