Fiction
[edit]Writing is always fiction since nothing can represent reality. It's the basic principle of literature. --2.245.84.167 (talk) 17:16, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
Changed rating from Stub to C-class
[edit]Changed rating from Stub to C-class, based on 10X increase in length and number of references. I leave it to people familiar with the topic to decide if the upgrade merits B-class. David notMD (talk) 08:22, 30 May 2021 (UTC)

- ... that On China is a 2011 book made by Henry Kissinger which provides authentic insights into the personalities of China's most infamous communist leaders Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai?
- ALT1: ... that On China is part of an effort to make sense of China's strategy in diplomacy and foreign policy over 3000 years and part an attempt to provide an authentic insight on Chinese Communist Party leaders? Source:[1]

General eligibility:
- New enough: - Article became non-redirect in 2012, has yet to reach Good Article Status, and expanded beginning 13 May 2021
- Long enough:
Policy compliance:
- Adequate sourcing: - The first paragraph of the Reception section and the Content section should cite sources, just to be safe.
- Neutral:
- Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing:
Hook eligibility:
- Cited: - the book doesn't provide authentic insights; it tries to.
- Interesting: - I think the hook should teach us something new or unexpected, not state something kind of obvious about the subject

Overall: Author requested article review at the Teahouse, so I checked the other criteria despite quickfailing this DYK nomination for article age. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 05:05, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
- There didn't have to be a "quickfailing" for article age. The nomination was submitted just three days late, and leeway is almost always given to new users for such a short amount of time. If there are other issues, Clancoo should be allowed to take care of them. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 19:27, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Nom hasn't edited since June 4 and issues remain unaddressed. If someone adopts the nomination then it can continue, but for now it's marked for closure. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 00:13, 24 June 2021 (UTC)
