Announcement from NABOKV_L
[edit]Announcement from the Nabokov mailing list:
Dear colleagues,
It is with sadness that I break the news that Omry Ronen died from a stroke on November 1st, 2012. He was 75.
Omry Ronen was a Professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Primarily a scholar of the Russian poetry (Osip Mandelstam, Boris Pasternak, and others), he has also published extremely original and insightful articles on Nabokov and has taught special courses devoted to Nabokov for many years. Omry Ronen will be missed greatly by the Nabokovian community.
