Strong in Malacologia, 2017, 61(1–2): 1–526.) (can be dowloaded at Researchgate.net), substituting the previous classification of 2005 Taxonomy of the Gastropoda (Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005). Invalid name

According to the IUCN, this species name is invalid but no new name has been proposed. They are using the name Omphalotropis sp. nov. 2 to describe this critter, since Omphalotropis costulata was a name given to another critter by Mousson, 1870.
