Other Ombudsmen
[edit]I suggest that the section devoted to "Other Ombudsmen" should be split off and new entries made for each Irish Ombudsman. Any objections? PhiloctetesX (talk) 00:15, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
- The allusions to other ombudsmen by name are very brief in the article. New individual articles should only be created if sufficient verifiable information can be found to support their creation. There really is not much point in creating brief stub articles just for the sake of it unless something of verifiable, notable interest can be said about the subjects. — O'Dea (talk) 16:11, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
Ger Deering is the current Ombudsman
[edit]He was appointed to the post by President Higgins in 2022.[1] Culloty82 (talk) 18:26, 15 October 2022 (UTC) Culloty82 (talk) 18:26, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
