PAOK fans rose in outrage and protested against the Athenian power which once again seemed to harm their club and the transfer was prevented.

I think Olympiakos has an 1-5 win over PAOK in Thessaloniki (1936-37 season). It was before the Alpha Ethniki was established, but I think we must add it as the biggest Olympiakos' away win over PAOK.--BubbleBabis (talk) 10:52, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nasty incidents?

[edit]

What about them? If they are mentioned in the summary, I would like to find something about that in the main body. Nice article though! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.80.104.228 (talk) 22:39, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Supporters rivalry section

[edit]

I have moved this off the article as it is highly critical and currently unsourced. Claim of this type about crimes and murder would need careful verification with good quality reliable sources. Please do not re-add this material without it. Thanks -- (talk) 09:53, 6 March 2012 (UTC) [reply]

Supporters rivalry

Olympiacos and PAOK fans are known for their violent tactics against each other. As in most football rivalries in Greece, injuries and often deaths are not rare. Particularly over the last two years[when?], violence erupts very often, while thousands of fans attack each other, destroying public property and often killing one another. This seems to be the case with all the major football clubs of Greece. Corruption is high; accusations about fixed games and using their fans like armies has helped some of these people gain political influence and financial benefits.[citation needed]
