Traffic Concerns Section
[edit]emoved section on traffic concerns, as it was pro-ICC.
- Yes, but the chunk you removed contained some old material as well. If anyone wants to remove some stuff, I would suggest the recent additions including the names of all the parks and individual subdivisions in Olney. Sfahey 21:29, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- pre-ICC I'm sure you meant.... 77th Trombone (talk) 18:13, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Links in this Article
[edit]- 1st, there's the issue since 2008 about insufficient links.
- 2nd, for most or all existing links, theres the issue of standard Link Rot.
- 3rd, The 2 links to the Census data are trouble. These links can't be corrected until USCB gets it bookmarking issue resolved.
- one (tagged as dead) predates the current (9/16) scheme. This presently arrives at census data for Fort Washington CDP, Maryland.
- the other is per the Bureau's current "bookmarkable" URL scheme. The Census Bureau pages provide links that are purportedly bookmarkable, but as of 9/2016 they are only good for 30 min after someone (anyone, anywhere) calls up a search for the same results as the link desires. After that, the links arrive at an error page, requesting the visitor to retry their search.
- Now, both links are meant to point to the same destination. When USCB gets its URLs resolved, then I suggest making the 1st a named ref, and then reusing it in place of the 2nd.
Cleaning any of this up will be good therapy for insomniacs. 77th Trombone (talk) 18:13, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Questioning the removal of photo of offensive children playing soccer Suggestion
[edit]user:Bgwhite - Did you mean to remove the photo of the young atheletes, which was present before you moved my over-lengthy caption into the text? You seem to have tossed the baby out with its captionwater.
