"Harv warnings" and the references...
[edit]If any of this page's watchers has Harv errors gadget/app enabled, you will know that this article has Harv warnings galore in the references. This is a good article and these problems should be fixed. Any watchers want to take this on? I just don't have the mental wherewithal right now to run the issues down. Authenticity section is a bit confusing
[edit]I'm finding difficult to track what is meant by "the head" versus "the Ashmolean head", and it seems that a fair bit of the information in the "19th and 20th centuries" section would be better placed in the "authenticity" section. I'm not sure I understand the facts of the case well enough to make revisions, but would one of the previous writers of this article consider clarification? I think a helpful first step would be to begin the "authenticity" section with a summary of all the heads under evaluation, with unique and consistent names given them. (Since if it's not clear if they are authentic, it's not clear if they are "the" head.) I can also do some research and give it a try myself. ~ L 🌸 (talk) 21:47, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
