brief edit: Mikhail Chekhov was not Jewish, but was a follower of the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner which is based on Christian Mysticism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.63.226.21 (talk) 16:47, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Right now for some reason the article now has no mention of her husband, only that she divorced him. I had to come to this discussion page before I even saw his name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rabbitwho (talkcontribs) 16:53, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography

[edit]

"her one film in Hollywood" was less succesful because of her accent. This is a nice note, but which movie is it? Saying "her one film" but not even mention the title is disregardful. 77.181.13.217 (talk) 13:56, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Plot to Kill Hitler?

[edit]

The article states that Soviet archives show that she was a member of "the plot to kill Hitler." This seems to imply that she was part of the von Stauffenberg which is rather unlikely. Antony Beevor's book, however, mentions a plan for Olga Chekhova's brother Lev to defect to Germany where they would use Olga's connections to get close enough to Hitler to assassinate him. The plan was never implemented, and Beevor says it isn't clear that Olga ever knew about it. This being the case its difficult to see how she could be considered part of such a plot. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anteriorlobe (talkcontribs) 03:45, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Beevor's book has some interesting things to say about her moving between Moscow and Berlin in the final days of the war--as if she were possibly a spy. Travel in and out of Berlin in April was only possible unbder the auspices of one or more intelligence agencies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.104.107.233 (talk) 20:40, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
