Oleh Riabokon vs. Oleh Ryabokon
[edit]Is not the more correct Romanisation of his last name Ryabokon although his webpage and Kyiv Post (use more) Riabokon? After all it is Viktor Yanukovych not Viktor Ianukovych (same Ukrainian letter "я" used in name). Am I missing some (grammer) knowledge here? — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 09:48, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Oleh Riabokon vs. Oleg Riabokon
[edit]Oleh Riabokon seems more a correct Romanisation of Ukrainian them Oleg Riabokon; it is more used on Kyiv Post and Oleh is Ukrainain Oleg is Russian. — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 10:39, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
- Or is there a reason this Oleh should be treated/translated different the Oleh Tyahnybok? — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 10:44, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
I got mail!
[edit]Osiruk explained answered above questions to me by e-mail in which he said that Oleg Riabokon is his common name (in Ukraine at least). Fine with me ;) — Mariah-Yulia • Talk to me! 21:32, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
