Contributing property

[edit]

Contributing property is an actual designation the NRHP uses to denote significant structures within a historic district. The citation is not really needed because its not an opinion but both the poster at the historic district and the bronze plaque installed in front of the building itself qualify it as a contributing property.

The reverse, a non-contributing property, is insiginificant to the historical character, intergrity and significance of a historic district. Such as say a gas station. So I dropped historical integrity and just left contributing property, as it seems that was the statement you had problems with, the link to the article can just explain what that means. Anyway, try to address things here on the talk page instead of in edit summaries, its just easier that way. A mcmurray 22:36, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
