There seem to be some discrepancies in exactly what marks the spot, and Roadside America admits they never actually got to the site. I have reconciled this as best as I could based on the two main source articles. However, I'm not sure how an 1100 pound granite monument got 6 miles up a road where the Roadside America crew couldn't make it (though admittedly they had a tight itinerary and a rented car).Donlammers (talk) 13:06, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah thanks for fixing my errors i must have got some wrong information. Odd none the less though.ZooPro 10:11, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have time right now, but I will come back to this article at some point and see if I can figure out what's really there. It may not be possible without a photo or some other source, and as I'm finding in some of my other digging, finding information from pre-web days can be pretty time consuming any way you get it.Donlammers (talk) 12:47, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Here are links to some photos on Flickr. We can point to them to verify the story, but I've never tried to get someone else to give up rights or publish photos to Commons, which I think we would need to do to actually post the photos.

I should have mentioned -- I did not find anything on WikimediaDonlammers (talk) 23:26, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
