Draft improvements
[edit]@MarcosFernandezMETROAG: I am replying here as I have not had time to take a good look. I will state that as the fourth-largest retailer in the world the CEO should have enough notability to have an article. I do want to mention that "if" this article is approved be cautious about COI editing. I just glanced at it but I need to also mention that the Reuters sources that begin with ""Metro names" or "Metro promotes" needs to be looked at to make sure they are not published company releases. The draft states, the subject "published several books in the field of IT" and I would think there is some sources for these? I have been sick so going to Urgent Care and will look later. - @Otr500: Thanks for looking into this. I hope you are feeling better! Regarding your questions: The Reuters sources are normal newswire pieces, so no advertorials. And here are sources for the books Olaf Koch published (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, 9, 10). However, in the meantime a user declined my submission, which surprised me a bit as I don't understand this suggestion as a spunout of the Metro AG article. What do you think? - @Otr500: Hi there, I'd like to add following paragraph about the work of Olaf Koch in the "Career" paragraph:
One of his main priorities has been people engagement. He is truly convinced about the fact, that in the retail and wholesale industry it’s all about people. Under his leadership [[1]] started to measure employee engagement, which was low (2011 EEI: 61) and has continuously improved (above 70). Working on the company culture became a top priority. In this context Metro also used media illustrate the company's purpose: to serve independent entrepreneurs. It turned out that music was a very effective was to boost morale and create belonging. The music and the videos made an emotional connection between people and company helping to further boost the culture of the company. Translation of German article
[edit]@LouisAlain, Robert McClenon, and Shadowrvn728: I’ve seen that you made edits to the article in the past. I therefore wanted to ask you for your opinion: I noticed that the content in the English version of the article is much shorter than the German version. I wonder whether it would therefore make sense to translate the German version to add the respective content. What do you think?

As the German article about Olaf Koch contains much more information, I would like to suggest to translate and add the respective paragraphs - following Robert McClenon's suggestion above. I started with the second and third paragraph under “Bei Metro AG” (At Metro AG) as the beforementioned information is already included in the article here today.
