SPRN isn't just satellites?

The non-satellite system (radars etc) is also known as SPRN I think. Secretlondon (talk) 04:07, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can find references to SPRN as СПРН (система предупреждения о ракетном нападении = system of missile warning) not (спутник для предупреждения о ракетном нападении = satellite for missile warning) as listed in the article. Nothing citeable (yet). I've certainly seen SPRN translated as the general early warning system and referring only to ground based radars such as Dnepr etc. Secretlondon (talk) 04:49, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
