Birth date

Let's decide on it. As of right now, the category (1978 births) does not match up with the stated birth date of 1982. Find sources to back up the birthdate and leave it at that. Senseless undoing won't get this article anywhere. Airplaneman ✈ 13:42, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The current situation is the worst of both worlds. Why don't we completely remove both dates until someone can come up with a source? Going over the history of the page, I see it has been moving back and forth quite a bit without anyone getting a source. I've removed all birthdates as a WP:BLP admin action. They're unsourced, contradictory and contested. Anybody who re-inserts any birthdate into the article without citing a reliable source risks a block. Sandstein 08:43, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There are people who have something against the celebrity and are for no reason removing her informations calling them "un-notable and fake". In past, so many information about Anand had been removed which were important for Encyclopedic. Please add semi-protection and take action about removing valid informations. Hi IP, please note that the administrators have no particular authority when it comes to evaluating sources or other content questions. Regarding the question itself, that is a misunderstanding on your part. Some content that's been repeatedly added to the article has been removed as inappropriate fancruft. That includes the "returned by popular demand" or "by fans' demand" claims; various gossip-type columns (such as those you link to here) make such a vague claim but it is absolutely not suppoprted by any reliable source, and its inclusion has zero encyclopedic value.
