Copy-editing to revise grammatical errors from the History section

This article was the subject of an educational assignment in 2015 Q1. Further details were available on the "Education Program:Louisiana State University/ENGL 2000: English Composition (Spring 2015)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.

I have found that the History section of this article has some spelling and grammatical errors that I would like to fix. I may also try to reorganize the History section so that it is more cohesive and clear. If there are any other editors that would like to collaborate or advise me about the best way to organize this piece it would be much appreciated. I reverted the history section back to sporkbot. The history needs to be rewritten with citations, I agree with the one of the editors that the history section was a mess. Thank you-RFD (talk) 22:21, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
