National albums/music charts
[edit]Proposal to rename, where appropriate, national music charts articles to territory and format rather than official name, so Swedish music charts rather than Sverigetopplistan, etc. Discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Record Charts#National Albums/Music Charts. Chart positions outside the top 40
[edit]I note the NZ chart website actually lets you search the top 40 positions week by week back to 1975. That's pretty awesome, but does anyone know if there's a way (including offline) to check much lower positions? For example, the ARIA Report lists positions up to the top 100 and you can order back issues from their website. Does anyone know if there's anyway at all to check positions outside the top 40/50 in NZ? Ping me back here if you do. Cheers. Damien Linnane (talk) 01:12, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
Total weeks at number one song errors
[edit]Concerning a list from a section in this article, Singles with most weeks at number one, the total weeks at number one for four songs are different from that at the articles where that total number of weeks at number one happens to be located at. To make that easier to understand, click on the song's year links in the wikitable below which lead to that song's respected article of number one hits in New Zealand for that year. There, the correct total can be found.
On a side note, an error for a song's total number of weeks at number one in Australia is mentioned in a message at the talk page of List of Australian chart achievements and milestones.
Year | Artist | Song | Total weeks at number one | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Wrong | Right | |||
1992–93 | Whitney Houston | "I Will Always Love You" | 11 | 14 |
2019 | Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus | "Old Town Road (Remix)" | 11 | 12 |
2019–20 | Tones and I | "Dance Monkey" | 9 | 11 |
2002–03 | Las Ketchup | "The Ketchup Song (Aserejé)" | – | 10 |
