Organisation name
[edit]ONWR's website calls itself "Office of the National Water Resources". Elsewhere it refers to itself as "The Office of National Water Resources", as do the media, as does the Bureau of the Budget, legislation, et al., etc. It is only a matter of time before they realise that their English name is clunky and incorrect. I have no doubt the the will be dropped. Seligne (talk) 07:28, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
- I sure hope they do soon. Then, we can update the article accordingly. For now, the name with the "the" appears to be what they reliably call themselves, as explicitly demonstrated in their logo, conference stage backdrops, etc. Media use appears to be inconsistent, legislation is only exists in Thai, and the English budget report is an unofficial translation, unaffiliated with the subject, and I think they carry little weight for overriding the awkward official name. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:08, 17 January 2020 (UTC)
