Name translation
[edit]Is it just me or does "Odobenocetops" mean 'whale-like walrus' or 'whale-face walrus'? Jerkov 20:34, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
In the book adaptation of Sea Monsters, it says: "the whael that seems to walk on it's teeth". It's kind of funny 'cause it's such a mouthful. But there is a "face" in "Odobenocetops", now THAT'S kinda strange... Dora Nichov 09:53, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Tusk use
[edit]"It might have been used to search out food, or as a sensory organ like narwhal tusks."
This statement doesn't make a whole lot of sense. How could it do either of these things, when the tusk is pointed backward alongside its body? 71.217.98.158 00:02, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
