Talk:Octopamine analogues
I have redirected this page to the article on octopamine. My reasoning is that I think the current content does not hold up to Wikipedia standards. The content of the article is not supported by the references given. For example, the statement "whether these substances actually have any psychoactive properties" is referenced to an article titled "A Multifunctional Role for Octopamine in Locust Flight" which does not address potential psychoactive effects in humans. The content therefore seems to be original research, and perhaps even designed to advocate the debatable point of view that these chemical compounds are more related to octopamine, rather than to controlled substances. If there is any content that can be edited to make it acceptable in terms of Wikipedia's policies (neutral point of view; no original research, etc.), I would suggest that this content is better added to the article octopamine anyway. -- Ed (Edgar181) 14:43, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
