Origin of the name
[edit]Is there any connection to the Oconee tribe from Georgia? If so maybe that should be added to the "origin of the name" section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.155.240.57 (talk) 23:58, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually, the Middle Oconee and the North Oconee are two branches which form the "Oconee River", just south of Whitehall. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.71.234.218 (talk) 20:02, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
