Difference of Opinion About Writing Style of Page
[edit]The article as it stands is in nothing like an encyclopedic style. Was it meant to be a 5000 word essay? Words such as "grisly" "sadly" and "heroic" indicate some sort of cultural vanity rather than an objective stance.--SilasW (talk) 18:06, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Who is SilasW to dictate what style should be used for writing this page. He may be some mealy mouther reader of The Independent who doesn't like strong opinions but the nature and state of train services from Ockley and the inadequate evening service and non existent Sunday service is a matter eliciting strong comment. Unless SilasW actually lives in Capel or Ockley and uses the station then I would suggest it is none of his business. Wikipedia is a modern world living encyclopedia for everyday users and not some dry academic tone designed not to offend the sensibilities of librarians. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Capvermell (talk • contribs) 00:33, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
