Occulation or occultation?

[edit]

Is the word occulation, or occultation, or is that two separate words? On this disambiguation page it's spelled occulation. On this page (where I first noticed it) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelver it's spelled occulation. However, on this page, for instance http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_al-Mahdi it's spelled occultation. From context, it's supposed to be the same word, so which is right? From this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Occultation probably occultation is right, but if even the disambiguation page has it misspelled as occulation, how many other places is it wrong? Needs attention of an expert who is familiar with all the interlinking pages on Islam. It's just one little T different, but it's still different. (Also, phoenetically, it would be pronounced entirely differently -- occulation would have a long U, occultation a short U.) 71.86.122.57 (talk) 08:14, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Medicine

[edit]

There are a number of medical articles whose subjects include "occult" in the medical sense, but no single article about that sense. I have added an anchor (HTML: span id=Adj1) to the appropriate definition sense in English Wiktionary, and linked the term here to that. I've put a question about this on the Beer parlour (Wiktionary equivalent of the Tearoom) and linked it back to here. --Thnidu (talk) 23:48, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
