[edit]Is there any difference between:
- An object is a language supported mechanism for binding data tightly with methods that operate on that data.
- A self-contained entity that consists of both data and procedures to manipulate the data.

- Good question. There is an important distinction that is not clear from the presentation. On the one hand, there are theoretical constructs (along the lines of ADTs) that are independent of programming languages; on the other hand, there are the language-supported mechanisms supporting the implementation of some variant of the theoretical constructs. [edit]Hello I need to know if the following statement is asking me if I am willing or if I am not willing. The statement or question is: "Would you object to being fingerprinted?" Please contact me back with a response. Thank-you, Rhonda —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.171.172.145 (talk) 23:24, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
