I'm reverting the recent redirect --> disambig move again. My reasons are as follows:

  1. This was already tried once, in August 2007, by User:C777. I pointed out on his talk page that (at the time) there were 60 links to overhead valve and only two to off highway vehicle, and that therefore it seemed much more sensible to revert. He agreed (see conversation on his talk page). The situation has not changed since then. I now count 9 articles linking to off highway vehicle,[1] and over 200 going to overhead valve.[2]
  2. Actual traffic to articles; thanks to Wikipedia article traffic statistics we can now measure this much more thoroughly. Off highway vehicle received 550 hits last month and 892 in the first three months of the year.[3] By comparison, overhead valve received 4762 last month, and 12842 since the start of the year;[4] I'd say that's a sufficient order of magnitude to suggest that as per WP:DAB, the abbreviation should redirect to the primary use.
  3. There are only two articles; we don't even need a disambiguation page when a hatnote serves the same purpose.
