Reorganisation of Content

[edit]

Most of the previous content has been moved to Scottish Certificate of Education. Although it wasn't a bad article, it didn't particularly focus on O-Grades as the title would suggest; in fact, it was more of an overview of secondary educational qualifications. Since there was a lack of an article on the SCE, the old O-Grade article forms the perfect basis of that.

I didn't want to rename the page, as there was still a place for an O-grade article.

BTW, can anyone cite the '1951' date in relation to the introduction of O-grades? I've left it in the (now moved) article, and I'd like to include it in this one too, but I have reason to believe O-Grades were introduced later than that... info appreciated, thanks.

What was the actual grading structure? Was it based on alphabetical structure (A = pinnacle and E= lowest?) Also why was the O Grade considered to be outdated compartec to the Standard Grade. There has been criticism that the Standard Grade criteria is lesser than the standard set by the previous O Grades. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.83.95 (talk) 07:19, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
