HMS Wasp
[edit]Moved from articleAndy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:24, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
The publication, "Ships of the Royal Navy" have an HMS Wasp launched in 1880 and wrecked in 1884. The next ship to be named HMS Wasp was launched in 1886 and foundered in 1887 after leaving Singapore. There is no Royal Navy record of an HMS Wasp being in commission in 1888, There appears to be some discrepancy in dates here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dailywiki (talk • contribs) 19:41, 7 January 2013
