Model by the same name
[edit]KHM03-the model Nutopia is well know amound Comic fans and is worthy of being of WIKI, but not har own page. i belive it should be part of this article.
- I am a comic fan, and I don't know the model. Nevertheless, if you wish to include a bit about her, please make sure it's well written, gramatically correct, etc. KHM03 19:30, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
- And in a seperate article! Articles shouldn't cover multiple topics; this is about John Lennon's fantasy country and nothing else. --kingboyk 02:33, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
John and Yoko's Nutopia has disappeared now, this sucks
[edit]Nutopia: The Country of Peace is clearly different than the production company Nutopia and the comic model Nutopia, whatever they are. Now we are redirected to Mind Games, and there is no section in Mind Games for Nutopia, so basically it's lost -- until it shows up in a future Beatles wiki, back burner, low priority? THIS SUCKS. We need Nutopia now. Who the hell is Jack Chapman to blank Nutopia out? Mark's dad? ...oh, I see I'm pissed...

Immigration
[edit]Shouldn't this link to an article on Lennon's immigration fight? I'm not finding such an article to confirm some timeline dates I have from original research from various books. 22yearswothanks (talk) 18:32, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
What day was Nutopia declared?
[edit]The main article says that Nutopia was declared at a press conference on April 1st, 1973. However, press reports from 1973 all say that the press conference was held on April 2nd, which makes sense because April 1st that year fell on a sunday, which would have been a bad day to hold a press conference. However, the various official documents of Nutopia, such as the great seal and the written declaration of Nutopia, date its start to April 1st. It seems like the official declaration to the press was actually made on the 2nd, but Nutopia's conception was subsequently backdated to April 1st, to place it on April Fool's Day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexboese (talk • contribs) 13:23, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Nutopia Dissolved?
[edit]Whoever added the "dissolved" date of 1976 provided no source and only added that John Lennon received his green card in 1975 and subsequently stopped talking about Nutopia. This is not the same as Nutopia being dissolved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.148.218 (talk) 20:48, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Removed "dissolved" and date of dissolution. There is no source, and it seems unlikely they would have dissolved their ideal, imaginary, conceptual nation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.148.218 (talk) 20:01, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
- Can probably mark as dissolved once Yoko Ono passes. LegalSmeagolian (talk) 16:10, 14 March 2023 (UTC)
