Suggest something like this, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:38, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
- Amended slightly. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:57, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for trying, but the two cellos are unique to this cantata, no other that I know, - why should that be hidden under an unspecific "strings"? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:20, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- BWV31 also uses two cellos, but here they are used for the obbligato only - better explained in the text (with that lovely coin-polishing image), following the model of BWV56. Nikkimaria (talk) 21:05, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- In that work, the two play with the violins and viola. Here, they stand out as obbligato, - I don't know what you mean by "obbligato only". --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:55, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- Well, yes, that's the point - BWV 56 has obbligato cello not in the infobox. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:57, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
- My mistake, thank you for pointing it out, fixed, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:43, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

I haven't reviewed a Bach article in a while! I'll finish this one soon. JAGUAR 22:05, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
Initial comments
[edit]- "the work is scored for a small Baroque chamber ensemble, here of two violins, viola, two cellos and continuo" - 'here of' doesn't make sense in the lead. Are violins and cellos used in this cantata? Something like which use two violins, viola, two cellos and continuo might sound better? Feel free to ignore as I'm unsure on making a good suggestion here
- fixed --GA
- "The music of that chorale is lost; only the continuo part survived" - has survived
- yes --GA
- "It was the first cantata performed after a period of mourning for Duke Johann Ernst" - the lead says he's a Prince! Also, he's not linked here
- fixed, sorry I thought he was one of the two co-reigningdukes, but now see that he is a third person --GA
- The second paragraph in the Music section is quite short and might be better off being merged with the first paragraph
- please alloweach movement it's own para, for structure --GA
- "Bach was interested in coins and precious metals" - I don't see how this is relevant to Music section? Is this referenced in the actual cantata?
- It relates to how he composed the music about the "polishing", and the ref is right behind it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:20, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
