[edit]I wrote this page as a stub, hoping that others can provide sources and more information. Unfortunately, it is very unlikely that the necessary "published" resources exist about this location. However, it is still a significantly important location and article to thousands of people, so we should find the necessary resources. I hope it will not be deleted before we can find the necessary resources. The information contained here is true, and can be verified by others who have first hand experience with this location. When was Numonohi Christian Academy founded? When was the Center started? Chadwick Meyer —June 14, 2006
Numonohi Christian Academy was founded in 1966, although it was started at the Ologuti base which was the precursor to Numonohi. I am not certain of the date of the purchase of the property from the Sogavos, but do know that construction was far enough along in December of 1970 to move the school into what is currently used as the High School building. This means that several houses and at least one dorm must have been constructed by this time as well. I'll interview my father and grandparents for firsthand memories. Where can we find published sources for this information? Chadwick Meyer —June 14, 2006
As I understand it, there are several scrapbooks around Numonohi chronicling the early days. My father has scanned some photographs from these and has most, if not all of them posted at the Numonohi alumni photo gallery at http://numonohi.com Nathanael Lawrence (talk) 13:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
