Wrong
[edit]I don't think this needs to be merged, as the single is quite notable on its own, and there are details specific to this remix single which does not need to be on the main album page (prevents cluttering). Plus the CD covers can be shown (more visual), and that there are many articles on specific singles (not just redirects to albums) for other music artists on Wikipedia as well. Likewise with "Pts.Of.Athrty / H! Vltg3". secfan 10:01, August 6, 2005 (UTC)
- I agree; there's an individual page for tons of singles on Wikipedia, and this one was very popular, to the point that it won a Grammy and was performed at the show. -Unknownwarrior33 00:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
An edit
[edit]Here's some of the stuff I changed:
- Edited the info box
- Changed some issue that had the box display "Roca-a-fella Records" (note the "a" at the end of the first word) but still be a link to the page entitled "Roc-a-fella Records" (in other words, it said [[Roca-a-fella Records|Roc-a-fella Records]].
- Both Jay-Z and Mike Shinoda were listed as producers, but only Shinoda produced the track.
- Moved the information about Alex Rodriguez down so it didn't mix with the warnings stuff
- Cleaned up the language of the warnings information
- Made it more concise
- Took out some unencyclopedic wording
- Cleaned up Grammys info (tried to keep all the same info there - I apologize if I made an error in that pursuit)
- Changed phrasing of explanation about this song being the only widely known single from Collision Course (actually I forgot to do that, and I accidentally got rid of that part, but I'm going to fix it as soon as I finish here)
- Added nu-metal as a genrea in addition to hip-hop.
As always, no edit is perfect, if you don't agree with my changes, I promise I won't start an edit war. -Unknownwarrior33 01:24, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Changed the Genre
[edit]Numb isn't even a Nu Metal song.. so I changed the genre to Alt. Rock and Hip Hop. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.30.198 (talk) 05:25, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
- Numb is nu metal. Jerkov (talk) 19:44, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Youtube information is wrong?
[edit]The article says "The video for the mash-up was posted on Youtube by several users in 2003", however Youtube was not around until 2005. --64.79.40.126 (talk) 20:50, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
