…currently redirects to this article. This is the site for the company of that name. RWE#Operations
suggests that RWE npower and RWE Innogy are different subsidiaries of RWE, with the latter of the two not having been established until 2008. The confusion is understandable, what with RWE npower having been called Innogy plc before its acquisition by RWE in 2002; however, that only makes the redirect more misleading. Should RWE Innogy get its own article? Or, failing that, shouldn't RWE Innogy
at least redirect to RWE
instead of to RWE npower
? I'm so meta even this acronym (talk) 23:47, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
- I agree with I'm so meta even this acronym. innogy is also the name of RWE's new green subsidiary.[1] Note that "the new company pools the German and international renewables, grid and infrastructure and retail business[es]". So we need a new page called Innogy (RWE) or similar. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 15:02, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

- @RobbieIanMorrison: Just to start an article about "new" RWE Innogy at RWE Innogy page and to add a hatnote about RWE npower on top of it. Beagel (talk) 19:11, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Beagel. For background information in English, search this site for "innogy": https://www.cleanenergywire.org RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 21:38, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Hello Beagel. On reflection I think the new article should simply be called Innogy. It is not a subsidiary of RWE, as far as I know. Best wishes. RobbieIanMorrison (talk) 15:04, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
