[edit]The flow/coloring duality 'algorithm' is very poorly defined. Consider the 4-cycle. The flow required is simple to see, but using the left/right argument leads to great ambiguity. I don't know the standard argument off hand, but as it is written, it is not well defined. Maybe just reference the 1954 result due to Tutte that says exactly that result.
