There is a logo on the new webste (www.channelaka.tv) in the news post "Are you ready for AKA? " but I don't know how to upload it - can someone upload the pic for me. Thanks The drunken guy (talk) 15:00, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Channel AKA. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Massive R&B

[edit]

If anyone is reading this, can someone rename this page to Massive R&B? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.83.208 (talk) 17:13, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Total Country

[edit]

Anyone willing to rename this page to Total Country following recent changes? 80.233.45.150 (talk) 16:04, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Split all the channels to separate articles

[edit]

Looks ridiculous, the channels are treated as if they have the same history which is clearly not the case. 2A02:C7F:242B:9700:90A3:908:E9CC:FE6E (talk) 16:55, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • The commonality between the channels listed is that when one closed the next was launched. That said, this article should just focus on NOW 70s with the information about the previous channels transferred to two new articles, the first being a combined article for Channel U, Channel AKA and Massive R&B and the second being for Total Country. Rillington (talk) 22:18, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fully agree about separating the Channels, Channel U (and Aka) were totally different to its current incarnations. They had a great deal of cultural significance. I actually created a solo page for Channel U which has been removed. This should definitely be split, there is a very rich History of Channel U that i'm happy to help go deep into.

Split Channel U to Massive R&B into a seperate article

[edit]

When the channel was under the brand Channel U, Channel AKA and Massive R&B the genres played were very similar and were just managed by a new company. Once it came under Total Country then it became very different and had no connection to the previous genres of music. TwinTurbo (talk) 21:08, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
