Accuracy?
[edit]The page claims that this band is "one of doom metal's greatest reckoning forces", whatever that might be. However, the article on doom metal doesn't mention this band at all, and I've not found any indication online that they're spectacular and/or trendsetters.
I would think that this doesn't really comply with the goal of a neutral point of view. JohnRDaily 23:34, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Page title
[edit]Also, this page really should have an apostrophe in its title; I can't recall if there are any technical obstacles to that, but I don't believe so. The List of doom metal bands fails to properly link to this page thanks to the missing apostrophe. JohnRDaily 23:34, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:B00005Y2E0.01. SCLZZZZZZZ V47056286 SS500 .jpg
[edit]Image:B00005Y2E0.01. SCLZZZZZZZ V47056286 SS500 .jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Irrelevant band
[edit]Irrelevant band, not even for a subgenre of Heavy Metal.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.62.178.197 (talk) 18:31, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
- So, why exactly are they an "Irrelevant band, not even for a subgenre of Heavy Metal [sic]"? Does this band fail the criterion endorsed by WP:BAND? It does not appear that way, because the band has had multiple releases via The End Records; see rule five of WP:BAND. Also, I will acknowledge that this page has major sourcing issues; you can feel free to help out with that, if you want to. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 19:51, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Name links pointing to other persons
[edit]The name link of bassist Mike Feldman points to a Canadian politician ([1]) and the name link of guitarist Lawrence Roberts opens a disambiguation page with a series of other name links ([2]) from which none is Larry`s. Is there a possibility to solve these link problems? 84.205.231.39 (talk) 08:37, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- Fixed. Thank you for bringing attention to this. Backtable Speak to meconcerning my deeds. 20:00, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Members list & Genres in the summary section
[edit]Thanks for your response! Please check also the band`s Members list in the summary section, at the right side of the article. Chris Wisco is still listed on it instead of current bassist Mike Feldman. The lineup is correct in the main article so I`m sure this is just a forgotten detail. Also - though I`m as far away from being expert as it can be - I`m not sure whether or not the band can be listed as Gothic metal by genre, even in the earlier years of their work. - Cool, thanks for your commentary. I have corrected the infobox accordingly. Also, about the band being or not being gothic metal, I don't have any say about that. Genre categorization isn't a priority of mine, and it can be a controversial aspect of music as to what genre(s) a band belongs to. Something like this can easily be taken overboard, and has been regularly in the past, as well as in the present. I would say that it's unsourced, but the article is poorly sourced in its current form, so I wouldn't have much creedence in saying that. Peace. - ) According to the official website of the band, they found replacement for drummer Sasha Horn. The new drummer is Garry Naples from Chicago who was earlier "performing with bands such as Kastasyde and Without Waves" as stated on the website [1]. As for the term Gothic metal, you are absolutely right, categorization is in general difficult and many times subjective, for there are no absolute criteria for where to put a band.
