A notebook, a notepad and a legal pad are not the same thing
[edit]The first sentence says:
A notebook (also known as a notepad, writing pad, drawing pad, or legal pad)
However, a notebook is not necessarily a notepad. We typically think that a notebook is more formal than a notepad, in that people would more readily tear pages off a notepad than a notebook. Also, the binding of a notebook is most likely to be on the long size (I would say in >95% of cases), while the binding of a notepad is most likely to be on the shorter size (I've never seen it otherwise).
Also, a legal pad is a notepad whose pages are of legal size (8½ by 14 inches), therefore a notepad is not necessarily the same thing as a legal pad.
Therefore, the "also ... or" is not true, and further explanations of the differences between the terms may be necessary. Υφ22 (talk) 05:32, 13 August 2023 (UTC)
