Too many celebrities

This article's constant naming of celebrities has made it rather unencyclopaedic. Anyone opposed to removing them? --DearPrudence 08:33, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Psychology aspects...

... seem not to be heavily looked into by their professionals, it may seem. I wonder why there is no bigger insight into the "nose" matter: first, the continued looking into its mother's face, will it not leave a trace in the baby's mind, even more as the nose is more or less unmoving (nostril flaring let aside) compared to eyes and mouth/ lips, and additionaly brings a sensual impact as the breath-through-the-nose-flow is notable to baby's skin, but invisible...; second, the continued looking into the "nude" face of women, at least in the Western world, could be quite interesting to psychologists in favour of Freud's thinking of the nose as a "replacement" of a penis: is there a constant "threat" of male identification (esp. when thinking of virility) when a male "finds" a constantly erect and fleshy organ in the female face... admittedly, the latter is a very "queer" thought, but could be worth thought anyway. Maybe there even might exist a "nasal phase"? - Thanks for sharing your estimated opinion, and pls. forgive my poor English, I'm German. Rhein-matthes (talk) 20:39, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Nose fetishism isn't exclusive to men. It's actually surprisingly common amongst women to be attracted to men with big, or otherwise "Middle Eastern" or "Jewish" noses. The logic behind it perhaps being that a big nose on an Indo-European face is a mark of masuclinity.

I think little is known about this fetish becase it's much more common amongst women than men, and it's a rather discreet fetish as well. If you look on the nose fetish community on livejournal, the membership is largely made up of heterosexual females.

Perhaps some suggestions of male noses in the fetish type list would help, and also some pictures of male noses. Pandatronic 00:12, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

"Sometimes only the most trained nose fetishists can draw the correct distinctions upon first glance." The writer sounds proud of his disorder.

It's not a "disorder". Not that I have it myself, mind you. And how do you know that the author is male? Stonemason89 (talk) 20:48, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

I'm a tag confused. Freud associated the fetish with obsession over penises, but what if you're a man who's into big-nosed women? Isn't that somehow counterintuitive or something?--92.114.148.141 (talk) 19:39, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
