As a regular traveller up and down the M6 Toll Road (which I love) visiting family members, I used to make it a point to stop at Norton Canes. It used to be a beautiful big service area with plenty of parking and nary a cigarette butt to be seen in the car park. These days however, I avoid it. When you enter the place, the music has been turned up to 11 and there is no way to escape it. They have also allowed pay-by-sale floor walkers to patrol the interior, and last time I was there, if you so much as smiled at them they would say, Sir, are you interested in a tooth cleaning kit? On the plus side it has a Coffee Costa on the right as you walk in (which I have to confess is its saving grace - Costa coffee is fantastic). 81.164.152.54 (talk) 20:45, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
