"Inside jokes"

[edit]

Wikipedia is most certainly not a place to post funny things about your school. If it can't be verified by a reliable source, then it does not belong in the article. Besides which, inside jokes are not notable – that is, they are not worthy of being noted. If you're looking for posterity, I would suggest MySpace as an alternative. ... discospinster talk 03:22, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Nhsschoologo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Nhsschoologo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duluth or Johns Creek?

[edit]

There seems to be a conflict between the name of the article and the introduction of the article. The introduction says it is in Johns Creek but the title has (Duluth, Georgia) after it. Given that it is in the Fulton County School System and only serves students in Fulton County, it is in Johns Creek, because Johns Creek is the city in Fulton County. Duluth doesn't appear to have any parts in Fulton County. It is in Gwinnett County. So I think somebody needs to change the name of the article to Johns Creek instead of Duluth. --Hippie Metalhead (talk) 03:06, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Since nobody has objected, I am going to go ahead and change the name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hippie Metalhead (talkcontribs) 03:42, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
