Assessment as of March 2007
[edit]Hello all, and thank you for contributing to this school site. I'm part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Assessment team, and, as requested, I'm reviewing this page. I'm currently giving it a grade of Start on the Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment Scale and an importance of Mid on this importance scale.
My reasoning is as follows: This article is not well cited and there seems to be a manner of edit war going on... It needs to be added to, and could use some overall editing Adam McCormick 07:05, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:NCPHS logo.png
[edit]Image:NCPHS logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

An absolute mess!
[edit]For a school which I know to be a shining beacon of academia, this article is a mess. First, this is an encyclopedia article WP:NOT the school's homepage, not a student Facebook page, and not a place to list every savory intricate minutiae about the school since the first brick was put into the Earth. There needs to be far better reliable referencing, most of which (not all, most) should come from independent sources. I have archived the discussions from 2006 which were poorly structured edit warring rants which managed to chase off one caring editor who was trying to help.
If you are editing, and you are not sure what belongs, or don't know why things are being deleted, leave a note here, and we can get some editors involved to assist or to answer those questions. Be bold in your editing, but please make sure you know what that means before you do. Best of luck! LonelyBeacon (talk) 04:05, 19 January 2010 (UTC)
Class project?
[edit]There's been a flurry of activity today. Is this page part of a class project? (It's OK if it is; I'm just curious.) Zagalejo^^^ 01:47, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
Transportation
[edit]The transportation section should be removed, because it is irrelevant to the academic history of the school, and unless you live in the neighborhood, Northside is not a convenient school to get to via public transportation. It is not "conveniently" located close to the Brown Line, from which you'd still have to walk quite a distance or in inclement weather take a bus. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ONB98 (talk • contribs) 16:21, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- You can delete it if you want. Go for it. Zagalejo^^^ 00:01, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I removed it myself. But in the future, feel free to be bold and make the changes yourself. Zagalejo^^^ 00:50, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Northside College Preparatory High School
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Northside College Preparatory High School's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
