Genus and new memebers added
[edit]This page needs to be split with the redirect of Batagru having its own genus and five members. See recent reclassification. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bruinfan12 (talk • contribs) 11:11, 15 August 2010
- Now been done. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 11:10, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Outdated
[edit]As noted in the above comment, there have been major taxonomic changes in this genus and someone with the time needs to update this page. For example, the distribution provided in this article is outdated, both photos currently used actually show Batagur affinis (I have already corrected the species in the genus article), and all the information about a decline/conservation in Malaysia deals with Batagur affinis (following the taxonomic change, there are no Batagur baska in Malaysia). 212.10.87.146 (talk) 16:29, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
- Have made changes. No Batagur baska in Malaysia like you say, likewise not in Cambodia either. The photo may need to be renamed. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 11:14, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
