Northern General Hospital England → Northern General Hospital — No longer a need to dab L.J.Skinnerwot|I did 14:35, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Survey
[edit]- Add # '''Support''' or # '''Oppose''' on a new line in the appropriate section followed by a brief explanation, then sign your opinion using ~~~~. Please remember that this is not a vote; comments must include reasons to carry weight.
- Support no longer a need to dab and the Singapore Hospital was deleted. L.J.Skinnerwot|I did 14:36, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose. If we do this move, then we will need to undo it next year when the other hospital opens. Vegaswikian 08:15, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Discussion
[edit]- Add any additional comments:
- The other hospital was due to open in late 2008, and is already behind schedule. Fair enough, change it then, but this article will have the incorrect name for two years! And that is assuming the new hospital will a) be notable and b|) carry the same name (these things often change). L.J.Skinnerwot|I did 12:49, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- If the issue is the name, then move the article to Northern General Hospital (England) which is the proper way to disambiguate articles. Vegaswikian 07:33, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

We don't need to disambiguate until a second article exists, and even then, the Sheffield hospital may remain the primary meaning. Wikipedia is not carved in stone, and we can make any changes as and when they are needed. This article has been renamed from Northern General Hospital England to Northern General Hospital as the result of a move request. --Stemonitis 15:09, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
