What about 'Northern People?'
[edit]There are plenty of links here: but what about Northern people, or Northerners, i.e. a general description applied to people from the North of England (used by people from the South). Also, someone can have a 'Northern' accent, as said of Christopher Eccleston in Doctor Who.
