Content
[edit]This page could do with expansion, but covering it with advertising and unencyclopedic information will make it seem unprofessional and crass. Here're a few ideas which could be put into this article to make it more interesting:
- Say who designed the building, and when
- Who founded the building
- A short list of notable past rabbis. If they don't have pages already, considor them unnoteworthy
- The history leading up to its foundation, and anything interesting that's happened since
- A good picture would be nice, but make sure you own the picture
I would write it myself, but I honestly don't know much about the history of Alyth. What we can't write are things like 'we have bridge club every Tuesday' because not only does it render the whole of wikipedia pointless, but it really reflects badly on the shul. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Judaism has an interesting discussion about articles on single synagogues. - @DannyK: Just jump in and source the content from the web and write it yourself. Go to the synagogue's location and take a photo yourself. Rangasyd (talk) 12:28, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
