Why is this a DAB?

[edit]

Is there any reason at all for this to be a dab. page? North Atlantic Refining Company has 2 links to it overall, one of which is this page. A Google search for "North Atlantic Refining Company" results in 29 results. It's my opinion that this should become just a redirect to Atlantic Ocean.--Metros232 19:27, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this becoming a redirect. GfloresTalk 05:48, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nobody's going to search for the company with this term. Boldly redirected. TimBentley (talk) 20:58, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You could have at least added the refining company to the Atlantic Disambig page... tsk tsk. BoojiBoy 02:10, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Reverted to dab page. Metros232's results were correct, however "North Atlantic Refining Company" is not a common, or even accurate, name for the company in question (legal name is North Atlantic Refining Ltd., but in marketing it's usually just "North Atlantic"). "North Atlantic Refining" brings up ~12,800 results on Google, and (for me at least) the oil company is the top result when searching "North Atlantic". — stickguy (:^›)— || talk || 22:45, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Re-reverted. What counts is not the google results, but what people normally understand by it. This is illustrated by the fact that for a year and a half no-one seems to have found this redirect a problem and just a few weeks after you've reverted I am so surprised to find this a redirect that I checked the talk page. I don't know which google you use, but when I google 'north atlantic' I get loads of different results. I suppose there should be a separate disambig page for this term, but under the title North Atlantic (disambiguation). So I'll create that. DirkvdM 06:50, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
