…of the ethynyl group. The image shows the opposite stereochemistry at this tertiary alcohol, relative to Norethisterone acetate, its supposed simple acetate ester derivative. Is the drug sold as a single enantiomer or diastereomer? Is the image that appears taken from or based on the drug label/package insert? If this article has definitions of the terms NETA & NETE
I sure didn't find them. I could find no explanation of NETA nor NETE nor of the difference between the two. Here's an idea: before using a specific term, define it. I understand that there has to be some foundational nomenclature assumed, but surely no one could sensibly argue that topic specific nomenclature doesn't need clear and accurate definition in the topic article.
