It isn't clear to me what the "creating extended range ammunition" item means, in this instance - what were the developers working on to do this? Gerald Bull was closely associated with work in that area, with alterations to the form of the projectile for better supersonic flight, and also after the Swedes with base-bleed on shells. Alternatively, if they just wanted to shoot further, "extending the range" would cover it. Details anyone? THere isn't a page on the topic of extension of range, but perhaps there doesn't need to be one.Midgley (talk) 16:14, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
