"Kashmir, Pakistan" ?

[edit]

I changed it to simply "Kashmir". No need for jingoism on an article about tea. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.88.239.201 (talk) 02:03, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, as a Kashmiri, i am changing it to that. Also, People of AJK and GB too drink it and that's in Pakistan 4lways4ccelerate (talk) 07:11, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

[edit]

There is no source that mentions the Kashmiri Noon Chai to be a Pakistani beverage, it's Noon Chai and it's from Kashmir and that's all there is to it. Please do not add categories according to your personal views about the Kashmir region. --Farah DesaiTalk 15:18, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Desi cha

[edit]

I've removed the Dogri desi cha from the article because that drink does not appear to be a salted tea like noon chai. If anyone has a source that can demonstrate that it should be included here, please provide it. Ibadibam (talk) 19:29, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Baking soda

[edit]

Exactly how does baking soda make the noon chai pink? Komitsuki (talk) 05:10, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The tea acts as a pH indicator. See here. Ibadibam (talk) 23:42, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bread

[edit]

@Padder Zahoor: as regards this edit, I am unable to find information either on Wikipedia or Google regarding tailwoud, makaiee chauet or saet. Could you please provide some links that describe these breads? As to the spelling of tchot/czot/chaeut, we can have some flexibility but the spelling chaeut seems the least common among pages I find on Google. Ibadibam (talk) 15:38, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Brigading with the country name

[edit]

As a Kashmiri, why are people brigading and trying to enter a country for it when Kashmiris on the both sides of the border drink it? Can we have an admin or mod lock it? 4lways4ccelerate (talk) 21:34, 19 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
